Where are you located and does it matter?

I am currently located in Hoboken New Jersey. But it really doesn’t matter. 95% of my clientele are located around the US or internationally. Technology is great: Most of our communication will be via email where discussion goes back and forth and photos are shared. On occasion, phone or Skype calls can be used as well. Patterns and samples easily sent (They pretty much know me at Fedex and the post office).

I already have a pattern. Will you make samples for me?

Sorry, but I only sample patterns that I work on. The reason for this is if any issues arise I don’t want the responsibility and repercussions of making the call on what to do.

I don’t know how to sketch.  How do I get a pattern made?

There are many starting points. You can give me photos of similar styles with notes on how to change or original samples to follow. We can even talk out what you want to do and I will ask you to pull together certain things to serve as your inspiration/starting point.

The burning question on everyone’s mind----How much is this going to cost me?

It depends on the project you have. But a good ballpark figure is anywhere from $1000-$2000 per style for the whole development process. This includes the first pattern, to production ready pattern with samples, grading, and markers. Why so much?- you need to have a skilled worker make your patterns and prototypes, not just once, but maybe twice or more to analyze and fine tune then ensure it can be mass produced. For project specific quotations, contact me.

What kind of garments will you not make patterns for?

I will always try to help if I can, but I reserve the right to turn down a project that I don’t feel comfortable with.

Specific items include:

  • Purses, backpacks & cases.

  • Puffer Coats

  • Bridal

  • Baby accessories- slings, diapers, etc.
