Sample making

Sewing.jpg

If you are a well-versed sewer and feel pretty comfortable constructing your own samples to save some $$$ I totally understand (heck, it’s what I would do).  However, if you don’t feel confident in your abilities or don’t have the resources to work with a samplemaker near you, let my team handle it for you.

I work only with garment industry veterans that I have personally vetted and are aware of the standards I require.  Trust me, a good samplemaker is hard to find and these ladies really know their craft.

How it works

  1. I will make the pattern and provide you with a shopping list of yardage required and trim amounts needed.

  2. You go shopping! Gather all the materials and components needed and ship them to me.

  3. The Garmenta team will cut and sew your project.

  4. Sample will be shipped to you in professional packaging with the pattern and leftovers from the project.

Additional Important Samplemaking Information:

Supplies will not be sourced for you. You are responsible for providing the fabric used for your sample unless it is determined to be muslin, which I can supply. Components such as elastic, zippers, and buttons should be the same as what you are planning to use for your production.

I have thread. Lot’s of it. Unless you have a specific quality in mind, I’ve got you covered.
